TPS in Win10 and WIn Server 2016

Post by xhide » Wed Jan 20, 2021 2:40 am

Hi,

I've tested the sending speed using the demo tools in Win10 and Win Server 2016.
There's a huge difference between the two.
Win 10 is getting 38.23215 m/s when I tested with 500 msgs with 50TPS.
Win Server 2016 is getting 12.6807 m/s with same parameter.
I've also tested running the smppclient on Win10 and smppserver on Win Server.
The result is so much better than running the smppclient on Win Server.
Is there any reason behind this?'
Also, May I know what is the default window size for the V2.8?

Thank you.

Hi xhide,

Which version did you test?
Could you please try with latest https://www.inetlab.com/Download/2.9.0- ... b.SMPP.zip

Please always test Release version without attached debugger.

The TCP Windows Size should be scaled automatically.
You can check the size of the window with Wireshark. https://www.wireshark.org/download.html
